Guggenheim Acquires Six Bolivia Tin Mines in Andes
The Guggenheim Interests have acquired six tin mines in Inquisivi Province La Paz Bolivia, forming two groups near Caracoles. Mines named Pacunt Huan chaca Carcoles Bengala Salvadora Bonaparte, ore 3 to 25 percent tin with silver, 5800 hectares titled, 3000 hectares sought. An automobile road about 66 miles is under construction from Eucalyptus station to the mines, and water and power rights secured for nearby streams. The firm plans a possible town and electric tram link, with hydroelectric options abundant.
