A delegation from Wallace visited the former Silver King mine near Thompson Falls last Sunday. Mineral Hill Mines, a common law trust, has begun preliminary underground work and is preparing a compressor building and ore-handling facilities. The group included Irving Anderson, W F Newton, William Stites, John Dolan, RK Mather, Theodore Wellman and C A Keating, who noted snow on the Burke power station and summit but no snow at the mine, about nine miles from Thompson along the Thompson river.

Judgments totaling 20000 were settled with 10000 cash and the rest by mortgage on the property, tied to net smelter returns.
