Snow course work begun to gauge spring runoff in Idaho and Spokane area

Peter Johnson of Western Union reports 11 carloads of high grade ore shipped since leasing. Loading of the twelfth car to begin by next Saturday. A compressor breakdown caused three days of stoppage. plant back in operation yesterday. Stopes have risen about 75 feet above the main tunnel and extend over 200 feet with no change in ore quality or quantity. No. 8 tunnel leasers also report substantial ore output and expect to load a car for shipment next week.

Model mill begins operation at Idaho Mines Leasing mill
Idaho Mines Leasing Company started its concentrating mill last Saturday after delays and a costly start. The plant, built under G D Lewhy, handles 50 tons of ore daily and is praised for economy and efficiency. A cable tramway will link the mill to the railroad, about 800 feet long. Ore averaged 16 percent lead with silver credits, with plan to ship five carloads of concentrates weekly though one carload monthly crude ore is anticipated.
