The Blue Bell group on Big Creek advances a crosscut north from the main tunnel after finding the vein dips north rather than south. Management expects the crosscut 1300 feet from the portal will reach the vein, aided by a visible iron surface and promising ore. The mine lies above Big Creek forks, three and a half miles from the railroad, amid rising silver interest as fixed prices spur more exploration.
