The Wallace Board of Trade unanimously endorsed the Shoshone County Good Roads Association at a weekly luncheon. Secretary F E Stone detailed receipts since 1913 totaling nearly 16000 and highlighted projects including a 25000 road around Mission flat to divert high water for the Fourth of July Canyon highway. They urged active cooperation for the season and discussed Slate Creek Road development, a Tamarack tunnel link, and electrification of Canyon Creek for passenger service. A Fourth of July canyon park was proposed to honor Captain John Mullan.
