Pine Creek Branch Inspected for Immediate Rail Repairs
Last week William Connelly, superintendent of the Washington division of the OWR and N, and W St. Skey, district freight and passenger agent, personally inspected the Pine Creek branch. They state two miles of track will be immediately repaired for service and a loading station will be built above the Helm ranch at the end of the track. This will cut wagon haul two miles from the Pine Creek mines to the railroad, aiding transportation. No decision has been announced on extending the track to the forks of the creek.
