Engineers Probe Platinum Discoveries Near Wolf Lodge

A group of engineers led by Idaho School of Mines figures inspected Homebuilder, Caribou, and Wilson properties near Wolf Lodge by Coeur d Alene Lake to verify platinum claims. Wallace to Avery Road May Soon Be A Reality

Mayor Toole Explains Bond Plan For New Fire Station

Roy Marcellus Returns From Antipodes on Way to London

Roy Marcellus and wife arrived in Wallace from Hobart Tasmania after six years abroad and will travel to Ion then return to the United States in June before heading back to Australia. He is a former Wallace resident and has worked with Coeur d Alene Iron Works General Engineering Spokane Anaconda and now Hume Pipe in London. He will join his wife in Oakland and their plans include visiting relatives in Mexico and California before resuming residence overseas.

Giant Ledge Shaft Linked to 800 Level Plans

The Giant Ledge Syndicate, owner of the North Side Giant Ledge property near Murray, completed initial developments and will begin full plans. John J. Stanford, mining engineer, and E. Hottenstein will oversee operations with H. E. Hall leading Chicago capitalists backing the project.

BUTTE VISITORS INSPECT COEUR D'ALENE MINES

Charles A. Rocking of Butte general manager and Earl V. Davier assistant general manager arrived in Wallace early in the week to study mining operations in the Coeur d'Alene district. Mine managers offered full facilities and the visitors praised the courtesy shown them on departure.
