Tubercular Sanitarium funding and water supply plan

Gogebic County Tubercular Sanitarium trustees seek a tax levy of 4.5 mills to fund hospital real estate and construction, plus 5 percent of Gogebic County general fund for the public hospital and a $40,000 trust for indigent patients. They propose a second issue in 1924 to raise additional $50,000, with water supply and furnishings incomplete, lease secured from Oliver Iron Mining to obtain water, and annual upkeep estimated at about 1,000 per patient.
