Wakefield School Board approves bids for transportation and coal
Wakefield Township Board of Education holds August 17 1921 special meeting. Bids for transporting children to Verona Thomaston and High School are opened and the lowest bids awarded to Cavender Co Olejniczak Maki Kangas Nelson Weston and others with monthly rates set. A truant officer contract is approved plus coal bids from Ot to B Olson Kingsmuth Wakefield Lumber for 1921 22 contracts. Regular meeting September 6 1921 approves minutes and coal contracts with Ringsmuth lowest bidder for 1021 22 years.
