Walionen Guilty in New York Murder Case
A jury in New York found Arthur Waltonen guilty of murder in the first degree for the September home invasion that killed Alix Nichols. Confessed associate Owney Pallas received a death sentence later commuted to life imprisonment. Waltonen, once a Wakefield barber, was captured in Traverse City, Michigan, after prior work as Mrs Nichols’ butler.
