Walter Anderson plans brick rebuilds after fire loss
Walter Anderson of Kenton plans two modern fireproof store buildings to replace the frame structures destroyed by fire Tuesday morning. The projects, to start in spring, involve about $15,000 and will replace Wakefield Bowling Alleys and City Electric & Plumbing Shop. The Bonino building also suffered fire and water damage. Police search for the fire origin continues amid theories of spontaneous combustion in basement wiring. The Wakefield Fire Dept aided residents including Mrs. Robinson and child evacuated from City Electric Shop.
