In Hurley, Frank Heible fatally shoots Thos Anderson at Prosch's boarding house during a dispute over a guest's boots.
Late Wednesday John Mo. shot and fatally wounded Chas. Wallace in Wallace's saloon at Marenisco. The two men had longtime bad blood and were both under the influence of liquor at the time of the shooting.
