County Board Meeting Recites Insurance Readjustment Requests

The August 7 1922 county board session opened with chairman Alvin L Rummel. Present were Berg Forsberg Holt Hagen Hart Hoernibrook Hirvela Hellen Jhonson Kelly Kala savicz Michela Novascone Pantera Peterson Surkela Strough Weston. Minutes were approved. Several insurance readjustment requests from agencies including Union Assurance Society Yorkshire Insurance Company United States Underwriters and others were noted and referred to a joint conference of committees. The Claims and Accounts Committee audited July 1922 accounts for the Poor and infirmary with detailed district and infirmary expenditures listed. The committee authorized a 3 H.P electric pump on 60 day payment and two plain dressers for infirmary helpers, plus plans for a tile drain and larger sewer pipe at the infirmary.
