Bounty Raised on Wild Beasts In New Law
The new law increases bounties on wolves coyotes wildcats foxes and weasels to promote pest control. Wolves over six months old receive thirty five dollars while whelps receive fifteen. Coyotes whelps and other noxious animals earn the same. A wildcat lynx scalp yields five dollars foxes earn one dollar and weasels fifty cents each. Heads or scalp and ears must be presented for claims Hawks and owls are listed at fifty cents per head.
