Hail Storm Wipes Swath Through County
A violent hail storm with stones the size of hen eggs carved a two mile wide path across the southern county late Wednesday. It began near Star Lake five miles west of Wyndmere, followed the N P railroad, and joined a advancing NW storm near Barney before veering southeast. Opera benefit concert inspires Red Cross support
Peton and surrounding towns attended a two hour opera house benefit at the Red Cross concert featuring Mrs Irving J Cross assisted by Mrs Mandanita E Stephens from Fargo College Music Conservatory.
