Roasted Pig Feast Among Local Friends
A group of citizens held a small feast featuring a roasted pig. Chas Lewis supplied pig and Browning hosted drinks with Bill Nichols providing materials. Charles Slaughter killed the pig and stored it in Nichols ice safe. The following day Brooks McClane Geo Hille and Jno George joined for a second gathering.

Summer 1888 saw ground broken for a new railroad town site at Wadsworth Nevada.
