Demolition Work Advances On Abandoned Roundhouse

Electric plant planned near Pierson ranch for city light
The project seeks a large electrical plant along the river line to furnish light and power east along the canal. Chief Engineer Taylor and U.S. G. S. officials visited town Sunday to choose a site. If approved Hazen and Fallon will soon receive electricity, with a large reservoir near Pierson ranch and extensive cement work.
