Jackson county sportsmen oppose Washington’s open season for ducks from October 1 to November 15 with hunting hours 7:90 a m to 4 p m. Spirit Lake approves People’s Natural Gas 25 year franchise
Spirit Lake voters approved a 25 year franchise for People’s Natural Gas Co. of Omaha to build a natural gas distribution system. The vote was 477 to 145 with officials arranging immediate office setup and warehouse leasing.
