Quieting Title in Emmet County Property Dispute
In Emmet County Iowa the plaintiff Nels S Warren seeks to quiet title to the north half of the southeast quarter and Lot 2 Section 12 and Lot 1 Section 13 Township 100 north Range 23 west. The petition lists numerous defendants and unnamed heirs alleging prior deeds were void or executed without proper authority and that Warren now holds full title by adverse possession through a chain of transfers involving Des Moines Valley Railroad Company Keokuk Fort Des Moines Minnesota Railway David Duncan and Helen Nichols among others. The action asks judgment that Warren owns the property free of claims and that all defendants be barred from asserting any right.
