Auto Owner May Lose License Under New State Law
A new state law allows suspension of an auto owners license if judgments for personal injuries up to 10,000 and public property damage to 1,000 cannot be satisfied. Owners must show the ability to pay or hold liability insurance. Insurance covering one person up to 5,000 or multiple persons up to 10,000 prevents license revocation, even if judgments exceed these amounts.
