One Year Training Promise In New Draft Order
The White House indicates selectees will spend one year in military training before returning to private life. An executive order sets 900000 inductees for the year starting July 1. Hassett said the year’s training aligns with the current fiscal year’s terms as induction plans shift. A court of new orders includes a defense office, a defense service medal, and a good conduct medal for enlisted service. House leaders delay 10 days on a bill to defer training for men turning 28 next Tuesday, affecting immediate deferment status and potential inductions.
