Books donated and club activity at Superior library
Culture Club residents donated twelve books to the Superior Public Library this week including A Gentleman of Courage and The Call of the Canyon. Mrs. J. C. Smith supplied the gifts, while the club hosted a card party at her home to benefit Warm Springs Foundation with proceeds split between the county and the foundation.

Social bridge and visits span Estherville area
Bert Reulands hosted a 500 party with seven tables and post game refreshments. Chas Griffee and guests including Lamberts and Lewis families attended a Saturday bridge night. Superior School Notes Show Birthday Party and Activities
The President's Birthday will be celebrated with a party in the school gym Monday January 30 sponsored by the Culture Club. Games include bridge five hundred and bunco with tickets available from club members. First semester honor rolls list numerous students. A three act play is scheduled for January 25 at 2:30 in the high school auditorium. Future programs include a February 7 musical ensemble presentation. Boys and girls teams faced Okoboji and Lake Park in recent games with mixed results. local teams faced Emmet Friday and upcoming encounters with Briacelsier and Miverda are noted.
