Incomes on farms to increase
Iowa State College extension economist Lauren K. Soth says farmers will face lower market prices for livestock and products this year but will likely earn more cash. He attributes higher income to larger supplies and marketings, which could offset price declines and yield greater total income if consumer demand remains strong, benefiting consumers with cheaper meat eggs and dairy.
