Unfair Comparison Over Opera House Reporter in Estherville
The Milford Mail alleges the Commercial Club should raise $20,000 to lure Mr Zelleno from Estherville for an Opera House Reporter venture. The paper argues the Des Moines club concessions attract him, while noting the Estherville project preserves jobs and the city’s amusement value. It says Graaf plans a far larger investment in Fatherville and that the club supports his building, predicting broad city benefits outweigh ticket purchases.
