Miss Geneva Haugen Weds Waldemar Fransdal in Estherville

Miss Geneva Haugen daughter of Mr and Mrs Joe Haugen of Rake married Waldemar Fransdal son of Mr and Mrs L O Fransdal at Estherville Lutheran parsonage. The ceremony was by Rev L A Mathre with sister Agnes as attendant. After a dinner for relatives the couple planned to live in Estherville. Mrs Fransdal taught near Rake and is a Waldorf College graduate.

John Snyder celebrated his eightieth birthday with a party hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neppl at the Neppl farm. About forty neighbors attended as Mr. and Mrs. Neppl hosted and Snyder, who lives with the Neppl family, received a gift and refreshments were served during the informal gathering.
