The Priscilla club of Meth odit Episcopal church meets Friday afternoon at Mrs John Smiths home with Mrs F M Jones assisting for a Christmas party with gift exchange. Women will pack food baskets to give to the poor. Thomas farewell honored by Odd Fellows and Rebekah Judger guests presented a silver teaspoon by John Weir. Lutheran Young People Have Christmas Party

Immanuel Lutheran church youth group held a Christmas party Tuesday night in the city hall basement. President Donald Derwich oversaw the event with entertainment committee members Miss Carrie DeWall Miss Marion Heinrich and Miss Pauline Nags. About thirty attendees played games exchanged gifts and enjoyed refreshments. A monthly meeting of the W C T U is planned at Weary Hall, session to begin at 2 30.

Alpha Club Christmas Party at Church Parlors

Members of the Alpha club of the Methodist Episcopal church will meet Friday in the church parlors for a Christmas party. There will be the usual business meeting followed by refreshments. The luncheon committee is Mrs. Walter Schultz, Mrs. A. L. Buffer, Mrs. Charles Bixby and Mrs. Frank Logan. The Wide Awake 4-H club met December 14 at the home of Maryis Bush. There were several visitors present. Installation of new officers occupied most of the program with a social hour spent in singing Christmas carols.

Attorney Harry Coffie spoke at the League of Women Voters regular meeting in City Hall Auditorium on Government and Its Operation. About fifty members attended. Mrs. Leon Pratt chaired the government department. A luncheon followed hosted by multiple ladies, and during social hour women exchanged Christmas gifts.
