Burglary and civic notes from Fairmont area
A gang described as yermen conducted thefts at Alpha last Tuesday morning, breaking into Jack Ford's blacksmith shop and stealing tools. They were interrupted by Marshal Chas Evarts during a general store entry, firing three shots as they fled. Three burglars, including one wearing overshoes with pointed toes, left tracks in frost. The town also reports a rising number of local incidents and updates on executives, medical issues, and community events.
