Fractional bid postponement and tax sale report

The delinquent tax sale for 1907 was held at the treasurer’s office in the courthouse Monday from 2 to 4 pm, with forty three sales and only Armstrong town lots unsold. Bidders were few but lively. Armstrong property prompted a postponement to January 3 at 9 am to accommodate eastern county bidders. Isabella McEwen Morgan died November 29, 1907, at age, with funeral held Monday at the Methodist church. she had long engaged in missionary and church work, leaving a husband H M Morgan and four children.
