Iowa suit seeks to quiet title to Emmet County real estate

The action asserts a chain of title through multiple Gower and Bowersock heirs and trustees dating from 1868, contending adverse possession for over 25 years and seeking confirmation of plaintiff’s fee simple title while barring unknown defendants by Iowa statutes of limitations. The notice warns defendants to appear by September 2, 1919, or a default judgment will be entered.
