Folsom unveils annexation land use plan for Highway 50 area
Folsom City Council disclosed a complete land use plan for about 3,600 acres south of Highway 50, approved for annexation with Measure W. The plan, shaped by residents and SACOG input, nets 12,000 potential homes and 7,500 jobs with 30 percent open space, parks, trails, and a mixed use town center, with LAFCO pre-application this fall and environmental review slated for mid-2008.
