Performance review highlights district gains and mixed public satisfaction
General Manager Jim Abercrombie presents a year in review with 89 percent employee satisfaction and 91 percent customer satisfaction, while only 65 percent find water rates reasonable and 47 percent for wastewater. The district notes below median prices versus peers, confirms a 2015 5 year 8500 acre foot water supply deal, Main Ditch improvements, and recycled water plan progress. It cites a 2,800 acre foot transfer generating 2.2 million, pension reform savings of 700 thousand annually, staff drop to 217, budget near 46.5 million, a 1 million Main Ditch grant, $30 million debt paydown since 2012 with 56 million more planned, plus drought conservation success.
