El Dorado Irrigation District approves multiple yearend projects
The El Dorado Irrigation District Board on December 14 authorized several projects including a $461 000 package for FERC related water monitoring and weed monitoring. They also approved $65 000 to design software and databases and $63 500 for a power mitigation study. The board plans to hire a consultant for feasibility at Deer Creek and El Dor Hills Wastewater Plant. Additional funds were approved for the Capital Improvement Plan to cover rising electricity costs. Also approved were two new utility vehicles, a five year 1.36 million sludge hauling contract and a 127 230 wastewater SCADA design contract.
