Pleasant Valley Notes Deaths Shock Community
The village reports two deaths last Thursday night. Mary A. Varnadore wife of T R Varnadore died after a brief illness from congestion. She leaves a husband three children and siblings. Funeral at Forehand cemetery led by Rev C W Snow. Also Mrs O P Swearingen found dead in a yard well after church attendance. She left seven children and an elder mother. Burial at family ground with services by Rev H P Myers and Rev J W Domingos.

Mount Pleasant Welcomes Rev Isaac Hobby and Rev J D Norris
Mount Pleasant church invited Rev Isaac Hobby for the coming year and unanimously received Rev J D Norris under church watch care. The right hand of Christian fellowship was extended to Norris last Saturday and he led the prayer meeting at the church Sunday.
