Cordele Carnival Steams Through Rain to Cash Balance
Cordele’s Farmers and Merchants carnival pressed on despite rain and crowding, drawing visitors to a bunting enclosed plaza and open side. The event showcased floats, a seven brother act, aerial feats, a toy-wheeled midway, and farm displays led by C B Percy. Admission charged for viewing, with a $6 cash balance left for the carnival association amid festive but damp conditions.
