Hog Killing Time Stolen Hog Found Near Wooded Area
A hog was stolen from H. P. Wynn’s lot and driven to a deserted negro hut at the Mon tezuma and Perry roads forks near Hardy Walden’s home. The carcass was butchered and entrails found in nearby woods while the meat surfaced at Homer Sheppard’s home, a longtime town wood-cutter.

One of the saddest deaths in the county occurred with the passing of Mrs Geo T Jennings wife of Rev Geo T Jennings at 2 PM Sunday. A devout Christian mother to a newborn son, she leaves a widowed husband, a mother, brothers and sisters, and many friends. Rev J J Hyman of Arabi conducted the funeral service at the grave in the new cemetery, with a large assembly in attendance as the family laments and asks prayers for solace.
