Uniform Primary Tickets Aim To Curb Wire-Working At Polls

The executive committee supports a uniform broadside ticket for all offices in the primary with each candidate allowed a personal name while others stay blank. Spalding County has used this approach with satisfaction. The plan calls for printing 5 000 tickets at a cost of about $5, and for each candidate to contribute $3 to campaign printing. The goal is to reduce manipulation and let voters prepare and cast their ballots privately.
