The petitioners seek incorporation of The Cordele Female College in Georgia to establish a Baptist female college for educating white females and possibly white males under stockholders. They request a 20 year charter with capital stock of 5000 dollars, board of trustees, endowment and endowment funds, donations, rules, degrees, and the power to contract, sue, own property, borrow, and operate under Georgia law.
