Three Friends Reported to Land Expedition in Cuba
A Florida Times Union despatch from Key West reports the Three Friends landed an expedition Monday night near Cnamaguey and by 2 a.m. had landed the men and ammunition before beginning a return voyage. In haste they abandoned their hire boat which divers later found and to Havana sent the craft. The U S Raleigh then sighted the coast and the Three Friends were driven toward their destination.
