Mumford's Band Performs at Heard's Opera House
Reverend W. E. Mumford and his band boys and drum corps drew the largest audience yet in a town of this size. Ticket sales totaled 78 dollars. Three of four girls selling tickets worked, Ora Morgan missing due to travel. May Forehand and Virgie Calhoun competed for a prize watch, each earning one after a tie prompted a second watch. Three girls turned in 66 dollars.

Unadilla Veterans Reunion Draws Large Crowd
Unadilla hosted a full turnout for the veterans reunion with Rev. W. E. Mumford leading music on the boye band. A big crowd enjoyed ample dinner and free ice water, with refreshments available. The town promised a grand, noble event, planning the next reunion at Byromville on the 2d day of next July, the 4th falling on a Monday.
