Destructive Sunday Fire Destroys Calhoun and Busbee Store
A major blaze swept through Calhoun and Busbee’s store on Sunday morning about noon striking the second story then consuming all woodwork. Col M A Fleming sounded the alarm from his office. Losses include building and goods at Calhoun and Busbee, W A Bakers goods, J Kelly, B M Woods, Judge Henderson and H Jordan with most covered by insurance. Bisbee and Bisbee’s law office suffered damage.
