Wesley Lane the Vienna church prospers as meetings attracted good attendance and the journal notes the Cotton States exposition event and a grist mill offered by Fenn & Dickson seven miles south west of Vienna with regular grinding days.
For sixteen years Vienna has held an annual grand fancy ball on St Valentine’s night. Alliance Hall was secured for the event despite two weeks of bad weather. A good crowd attended and danced into the early morning as Barrata’s band played, with visitors from Cor delo Montezuma Hawkinsville Macon Perry and other nearby towns.
