The Ball, held Wednesday evening in December, drew many visitors from Cordelo and Montezuma. Barratta's band of Macon provided the music, and attendees called it one of the best balls ever given in the city.

It mentions The Wickid Of] Company in Cleveland Ohio and advertises bar groceries and fresh meat to the Green Growry Co. plus a Christmas message from Deputy Sheriff GW Sheppard thanking city ladies for prisoner dinners at the county jail.
Notice from John Collier of Vienna Georgia seeking information about a dun and white spotted ox aged about eight with a bald head and small hops. The animal was missing from a mill two miles east of Vienna sometime between November 1 and 6. The ox was raised by Mr. Forel of Dooly County. A liberal reward is offered for information leading to recovery.
The partnership formerly known as P G McDonald and Co is dissolved by mutual consent. J B McDonald retires while P G McDonald assumes all liabilities and will collect all debts of the firm. Names: P G McDonald and J B McDonald.

Notices cite heirs and creditors to show cause why administration should not be terminated and letters of dismission granted on the first Monday in February 1909. Dated November 9 1968.
