The firm of Pate and Willis of Macon failed Saturday but hopes to make satisfactory arrangements and resume business in a few days. The Macon News, Georgia’s popular daily, will be enlarged to eight pages in a few weeks. Success to the News.

A Pennsylvania veteran of 1862 recalls chronic diarrhoea since service in Company A of the 167th Volunteers. After tried medicines and doctors, a sample then a 50 cent bottle of Chamberlain's Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy cured him. He endorses the remedy to fellow veterans and notes it is sold by Dr. C. T. Stovall in Vienna, Gao.
Notice advertises sale by court in Dooly County Georgia on the first Tuesday in September 1897. It lists extensive mill equipment lumber stocks and real estate interests including blocks in Cordele and 800 shares of Cain Lumber stock under a FiFa against McD Cain Jr. Seats to be sold to highest bidder for cash in hand.
