Georgia at the World’s Fair displays pride and progress
The Georgia exhibit at the World’s Fair showcases mineral, forestry, syrup, and cotton displays aided by Savannah and Augusta firms. Capt. H. H. Tift built the Georgia building, a homegrown replica of Southerland, drawing visitors with local materials and products amid broader notes on farming, lynching debates, and southern industry.
