Clever conductor tricks passenger on Euclid line

Defaulted cashier John Schardt dies after brain congestion

John Schardt, the defaulting cashier of Mechanics' Savings Bank and Trust Company of Nastville Tennessee, died Monday from congestion of the brain. The bank has made an assignment for the benefit of creditors with James J. Pryor as assignee. Assets are about $200000 while liabilities run to $159000.
