A 1904 guidance piece emphasizes regularity over intensity in outdoor exercise, especially cycling and walking. It urges daily activity, proper sleep, and sane dress, warning against tight lacing and impractical habits while praising the bicycle as a healthy, social form of motion. It highlights the American Institute of Physical Culture in Boston as a model for comprehensive, regular training for women.
