Mepewait City Council of Vienna enacts a near beer license tax of 10000 dollars to be paid before selling any near beer drinks. The ordinance prohibits sale without tax payment and imposes penalties on firms or individuals operating near beer businesses. Passed September 7, 1908. Also notices advertising agricultural equipment and lumber for sale appear in the same notice.
