Accident at Pateville leaves youth with hand amputated
In Anat Ga yesterday morning Elijah Bridges son of William Bridges was guiding a gin engine at J. S. Pate’s near Pateville when his left hand was caught in the saws. The injury required amputation just above the wrist and stopped the engine. He was brought to the city for surgery by Drs J S McKenasie and V O Harvard and is resting as well as could be expected.

Negro Lynching Suspect Body Found Near Idele Farm
The body of Ben Mobley, who assaulted the daughter of Mr. Granger near Wenons and was lynched by a mob, was recovered Wednesday from a lime sink on J. F. Pere’s farm three miles southeast of Idele.
