Negro Killed by Falling Tree Near Richwood
A negro stock cutter was killed when a tree fell in the woods near Richwood. The name was not learned. This is the second death in the area this winter and a coroner held an inquest, with a third inquest by Coroner Graham within a week.

Protracted Revival Ends at Local Methodist Church
The two week revival at the Methodist church concluded Thursday with a prayer and experience meeting. Rev Leitch and Chorister Marshall labored for sinners but conversions were few. The church was awakened and the revivalists received about $150 in donations. They will continue in Fitzgerald and seek future success.

Death of a Bright Little Girl Eva Roundtree
The 12 year old daughter of Jim Roundtree died Wednesday afternoon after a brief pneumonia illness. Her remains were laid to rest Thursday at Lane graveyard with Rev. J D Norris officiating as many relatives and friends attended. A younger daughter remains seriously ill with pneumonia. The family has the sympathy of many friends.

Inquest Held Over Batson Robbery Murder in Richwood
