Woman Leaps Before Train in Trion Georgia
In Trion Georgia on June 24 Mrs Henry Reynolds daughter of W F Cannon and wife of a mill worker committed suicide by leaping in front of Central of Georgia No 2. Engineer Ayers reported she hid in a ditch near a stock gap and as the engine neared she sprang to her death. The train could not be stopped and her body was cut in the wreck. She leaves a husband and a six months old baby.

Carroll Killed by His Best Man Twice
Dalton Georgia June 28 John Carroll a prosperous young farmer was killed by Harrison Holland a friend who rode with him to Dalton to obtain a marriage license. After leaving the city they drank and quarreled. Carroll was shot twice once in the head and once in the arm with the head shot penetrating the brain causing instant death. Holland has not been captured.

Last Sunday at New Hope church Mr John Lawson Bellflower and Miss Mollie were thrown from a buggy when the horse bolted. Mollie suffered a facial cut and minor injuries while Bellflower dislocated his right shoulder trying to control the horse. No serious injuries are expected.
